Tours and Group Visits

Groups looking to enjoy a shared cultural experience have a range of options when visiting the Skirball. 

  • Public Tours

    The Skirball regularly schedules Public Tours for select exhibitions throughout the year. Visitors are encouraged to ask if Public Tours are being held on the day of their visit, which are available to anyone with a General Admission ticket as space allows. 

    Note: Public Tours are subject to cancellation.

  • Private Tours and Self-Guided Group Visits

    Whether you want to experience a private tour with one of our expert docents or explore our current exhibitions on your own, the Skirball offers a range of opportunities for large groups. Book your group visit today!

  • Group Admission to Noah's Ark

    Gather friends and family for a trip aboard Noah's Ark at the Skirball! Groups of fifteen or more receive a group discount on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

    Discounted rates:

    $15 General
    $10 Seniors, Full-Time Students with ID, and Children 2-17
    FREE to Children under 2
    FREE to Members if at least fifteen tickets have been purchased

    • Space provided, group discounts are available at 12:30, 1:00, or 1:30 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays except for holidays and school breaks. Other restrictions may apply.  
    • To qualify for a Group Discount you must pay for at least fifteen group members, regardless of whether any of the fifteen is a Skirball Member. However, any Skirball Members in your group beyond the minimum of fifteen may be admitted FREE. 
    • Maximum thirty-five people per group.
    • Be sure there is at least one adult per four children. This policy will be enforced at the check-in desk, so be sure to buy/reserve the right mix of tickets for your party. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults are 18 and up.
    • Adults are required to stay in the same room with and remain attentive to all children in their group. For the safety of everyone aboard the Ark, groups who leave children unsupervised may be asked to leave. 
    • Group discounts may only be redeemed when you book and pre-pay your self-guided group visit at least one week in advance of your desired visit date. Group admission discounts may not be redeemed without an advanced reservation.
    • Your Group Visit to Noah's Ark provides access to all other Museum exhibitions.

    Judy's Counter—Purchase grab-and-go gourmet sandwiches, salads, and snacks at Judy's Counter. Tables and chairs around campus are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Hours and menu >

    Private Catering—Plan a delicious catered meal in a private room before or after your scheduled Museum visit. Please email groupvisits@skirball.org

    Bring Your Own—Pack your lunch and find a nice terrace or other spot to enjoy food from home while at the Skirball. Please note, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted, and all food and beverages are strictly prohibited in the Museum galleries. Tables and chairs around campus are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
