About the Class
The Jewish commandment of sh'mirat haguf is to “guard yourself and your soul,” traditionally understood to command us to take care of our health and wellness. With this mitzvah as our guide, this course will include both light movement and exercise, and a discussion on a broad range of wellness topics, including brain health, nutrition, movement, and daily rhythm (how to have a productive and meaningful day). You will leave each class with an action step to practice that week.
This class is open to all fitness levels and accessibilities. No prior exercise experience needed.
Facilitator: Marissa Tiamfook Gee, JD, NBC-HWC, CPT is a nationally certified health coach, certified personal trainer, running and walking coach, and brain health trainer with over twenty years of experience training and coaching people of all ages and abilities, from age 8 to age 90, including post-natal mothers, older adults, and those recovering from surgery or a stroke.
