About the Program

Be among the first to explore the galleries! All galleries will be on view starting at 12:30 pm.

Diane von Furstenberg: Woman Before Fashion centers on the remarkable life and work of fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg in the 50th anniversary year of her iconic wrap dress. This expansive, multidisciplinary exhibition invites visitors to discover the extraordinary features of von Furstenberg's career, from the 1970s to the present.

On the National Language: The Poetry of America's Endangered Tongues invites us to reflect on the rich linguistic diversity and complex cultural heritage of the United States by presenting a selection of forty-six portraits of speakers and students of endangered languages from photographic artist and linguist B.A. Van Sise.

Ancient Wisdom for a Future Ecology: Trees, Time, and Technology reimagines old and new ways of understanding trees through sculptures, video, and AI from artists Ken Goldberg and Tiffany Shlain. Opening in conjunction with The Getty’s PST ART initiative Art & Science Collide.

Reservations are not required to view the galleries on this day. They are required for the Curator Talk. Gallery attendance is based on membership level.
