About the Class

Join Skirball creative writing instructor Lesley Hyatt for a special five-week winter workshop designed to support writers looking for support with works-in-progress. Students will deepen their knowledge of the craft of writing and receive productive feedback from fellow students and the instructor. This course is suitable for all writers interested in revising and moving forward with their creative writing.


Instructor: Lesley Hyatt teaches writing and mindfulness to students of all ages. She holds an MFA in English and fiction writing and is the author of myriad essays, short stories, and poems. Hyatt received an Outstanding Instructor award for her work as a creative writing instructor at UMass, Amherst. She is a former Fulbright Scholar.
