About the Class

Diane von Furstenberg spins stories out of clothes. In this special creative writing workshop, let DVF’s stories inspire your own. We’ll begin with a docent-led tour of the DVF exhibition. Afterwards, participants will step into their own stories (true life or fictional) about shoes, dresses, slacks, blouses, skirts, socks, and everything in between.

This special Skirball workshop is open to all fashion lovers and storytellers.

Instructor: Lesley Hyatt teaches writing and mindfulness to students of all ages. She holds an MFA in English and fiction writing and is the author of myriad essays, short stories, and poems.
