About the Artist
![Headshot of DJ Jauretsi looking directly at the camera and resting their face on their palm.](/sites/default/files/2024-07/jauretsi_inset.jpg)
Jauretsi (ha-ret-see) is a multi-hyphenate content creator and culture builder with a passion for music. Heavily influenced by her Cuban roots, Jauretsi's DJ and music curation services span two decades, including a past radio show on Latin Funk for Miss Lily's in Soho New York, and collaborations with musicians, including Pharrell Williams, Questlove, and Major Lazer.
In her publishing days, Jauretsi wrote for boundary-pushing outlets like Paper, Details, and Jane magazine, where she also served as Entertainment Editor. With an editor's eye, Jauretsi spearheaded a mix of articles, events, initiatives, newsletters, and social media strategies to build community. She's since written, directed, or produced for clients including New York Times' T Magazine, eBay's The Inside Source, The Standard Hotel Culture, Soho House (West Coast US), and more.

Our popular summertime music series is back! Get together with friends and family to sing and dance to an eclectic lineup of musicians in the Skirball’s picturesque hillside courtyard.
Taking place in the heart of our relaxing, communal oasis, our twenty-seventh season explores the diaspora and identity of African and Caribbean artists whose music warmly embraces humanity’s inherent right to freedom.
