About the Program
Back by popular demand! In partnership with Otis College of Art and Design, this two-day workshop offers a quick method of printmaking to explore and create Pop Art prints in the style of Roy Lichtenstein.
Using bold colors and stencil shapes, create screen-printed art using images from popular culture and methods of stylistic pattern making. The class begins with a walk through the exhibition, followed by a printing workshop.
Materials are supplied to create prints, tees, or tote bags. Visit otis.edu/ce for additional class materials.
Instructor: Kim Alexander is an internationally exhibited fine artist who earned his MFA in studio art at Claremont Graduate University and his BA in printmaking at the Evergreen State College.
